Set in motion once again Just to be overwritten You cannot stop what you didn't start But take it to heart You wake up You make up Something to end this break-up You fallen Madonna You're chosen but you just don't wanna Lose all ties Lose all dignity Lose all perfect smiles Just to be

You speak Of yesterday as Sad and lonely and Without a cure You're sure That this song is Not worth singing Why am I Hypnotised by you? Kiss your lips And watch the whole world Standing still You are broken but Time will heal your wounds my dear Blue with eyes wide shut, but Hopefully in time you'll see me Like porcelain you've been worn down Until it's not that hard to break you now You frown, but Dry your tears afore you drown So this song's for you, here's hoping That we're going to see this through You are broken but Time will heal your wounds my dear Blue with eyes wide shut, but Hopefully in time you'll see me

The smouldering ground Slave unto the blistering sun No sky, just horizon The ocean's not far Somewhere it whispers on The inscrutable whine of A breeze in his ears The predictable smile, because Everything's perfect, but He's just not there Large crowded room Full of interesting people Full of lives, with Tales to tell The colours are bright, and The music's just right He can see it's just going to be A wonderful night A mumble beside him, and he Turns to listen, but He's just not there No one knows just why He's just not there

about

A random collection of songs I wrote in 2007 and 2008, in between writing The Snow Angels, Welcome to the Circus and Crucible of Ideologies, as well two tracks made in late 2006, meant for an album that never came into being (called Ikonoklazm), which were Someone's There! and Stone. Stone was also the last track that Robert Rumney worked on with Flat Battery. Much improvement in my mixing and performing skills can be heard throughout.
