This is the third track from Flat Battery's second unfinished album Ikonoklazm (has since been abandoned altogether). It was 2006 when I made this and I was 17 at the time, so I'd not really gotten much better at recording and producing yet, however a little remastering I did recently has improved its quality a smidge.

I like to think that this track was 17 year old Liam's ode to the unique sense of paranoia I'd found living in Johannesburg. I'd spent a good portion of my life living in generally quieter and safer places, so the fear factor of the city had always been obvious to me.
