It's frequently been commented on that I have a distant nature - I'm introverted and introspective, if you'll indulge that view. I did my darndest to express this is in a song (this being the song :-P), and also in third person. I was additionally discovering a fraction of my voice's versatility while writing this.

I wish I'd worked more on the instrumentals and recorded a couple of more takes on the vocals, but overall I like the track, and I know it's a favourite of a few friends too. I'm guessing I put it together late 2006/early 2007, just before starting on The Snow Angels.
